To the respected leaders, stakeholders, elders, women, youths, and faithful members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Okigwe North Federal Constituency,
We write this open letter with deep humility, sincere respect, and an abiding faith in the spirit of justice, fairness, and brotherhood that has always defined the political family of Okigwe North.
This is not a letter of confrontation. It is not a letter of bitterness. Rather, it is a heartfelt appeal born out of hope, patience, and the collective desire to sustain peace, unity, and mutual respect within our constituency and our great party.
For nineteen long years, the people of Onuimo Local Government Area have waited patiently, believing strongly in the principles of equity and political understanding that bind us together as one family. Through changing political seasons, shifting alliances, victories, and disappointments, Onuimo has remained steadfast in its loyalty to the APC and to the Shared Prosperity administration of our performing governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma.
Our people have consistently demonstrated uncommon sacrifice. We have stood firmly with the party even in difficult times, defended the ideals of the government at the grassroots, mobilized support during elections, and continued to place the collective interest of Okigwe North above personal ambitions.
Today, we appeal with sincerity and emotion that this long season of patience should not be forgotten.
Every political family survives on trust. Every alliance survives on fairness. Every united structure survives on the confidence that sacrifice and loyalty will someday be remembered and rewarded. If people continue to wait endlessly despite their commitment and faithfulness, discouragement may gradually replace hope.
Onuimo has never asked for too much. Our people only seek understanding, inclusion, and a fair opportunity to also feel the warmth of belonging within the political arrangement of Okigwe North.
This appeal is therefore a moral call to conscience. It is a plea to our leaders to strengthen the existing bond of brotherhood by allowing justice, equity, and compassion to guide decisions ahead of the APC primary election.
We must avoid actions capable of creating feelings of exclusion, abandonment, or political hopelessness among loyal party faithful who have patiently waited for nearly two decades. The future stability of our constituency depends not only on political victories but also on the ability to carry every bloc along with dignity and fairness.
As strong supporters of the Shared Prosperity Government, we believe that rewarding loyalty encourages deeper commitment, strengthens party unity, and preserves the spirit of togetherness that Governor Hope Uzodimma continues to preach across Imo State.
History remembers leaders not merely for power, but for their sense of fairness at defining moments. This is one of those defining moments.
We therefore passionately appeal to the conscience of our revered leaders, political stakeholders, and delegates to remember Onuimo’s nineteen years of patience and to allow equity, justice, and political inclusion to prevail for the sake of unity, peace, and the continued strength of the APC in Okigwe North.
Let compassion speak louder than ambition.
Let fairness speak louder than personal interest.
Let unity speak louder than division.
Together, we can preserve the bond of brotherhood and strengthen the future of our constituency for generations yet unborn.
