‎Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has dismissed fresh speculation surrounding his political future, reaffirming his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress and describing reports of a possible shift in allegiance as false and misleading.

‎The governor clarified on Wednesday while inspecting the newly reconstructed Psychiatric and General Hospital at Rumuigbo in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area.

‎Fubara stated that there was no truth in claims circulating on social media suggesting that he had abandoned the APC, stressing that he remains fully committed to the party and aligned with its interests.

‎Speaking on the hospital project, the governor described the completion of the facility as part of his administration’s commitment to improving healthcare delivery and enhancing the well-being of residents across the state.

‎He noted that the upgraded hospital would help reduce pressure on the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital while also expanding access to quality healthcare services for neighbouring communities within Obio/Akpor and surrounding areas.

‎Fubara added that his administration would continue to prioritise critical infrastructure and social services aimed at improving the quality of life of Rivers people.
