‎The remains of veteran Imo journalist, Comrade Saviour Osuoha, will be laid to rest today, Saturday, June 20, 2026, in his hometown of Ifakala, Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State.


‎The journalism community has continued to mourn the late media practitioner, whose death on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, came as a shock to family members, colleagues, friends, and associates.

‎According to information made available to Inside Agwa News (IAN) by his wife, Mrs. Chinasa Osuoha, the late journalist passed away on Tuesday afternoon under circumstances that left many devastated.


‎Until his death, Comrade Osuoha had worked with several reputable media organizations within and outside Nigeria. He also served temporarily as the second Managing News Editor of Inside Agwa News (IAN), where he made significant contributions through his professionalism, dedication, and commitment to factual reporting.


‎A native of Ifakala in Mbaitoli Local Government Area, Osuoha was widely respected among media practitioners and members of the public for his diligence, calm disposition, and strong work ethic.


‎His passing has created a significant void in the journalism profession, with colleagues remembering him as a seasoned reporter whose commitment to accuracy, credibility, and ethical journalism earned him admiration across the media landscape.


‎Family members, friends, professional colleagues, and well-wishers are expected to gather in Ifakala today to pay their final respects and celebrate the life and legacy of the late journalist.


‎The burial announcement was signed by his son, Priestly Eze Osuoha, who invited relatives, friends, and associates to join the family in honoring his memory.
