A frontline aspirant for the Oguta State Constituency seat in the 2027 Imo State House of Assembly election, Apostle David Ebirim, has pledged to deliver purposeful and people-oriented representation if elected under the platform of the Action People’s Party (APP).
Apostle Ebirim, a grassroots politician and former Chairman of the Labour Party in Oguta Local Government Area, said his ambition is driven by the desire to provide effective leadership capable of addressing the developmental needs of the constituency and improving the welfare of the people.
Speaking with supporters and party faithful during recent political consultations across communities in Oguta, Ebirim emphasized the need for inclusive governance, youth empowerment, economic opportunities, and infrastructural development.
He noted that the people of Oguta deserve responsive representation that prioritizes the collective interest of the constituency over personal gains, stressing that his leadership would focus on accessibility, accountability, and community-driven development.
Political observers within the constituency have continued to describe Apostle Ebirim as a strong grassroots mobilizer with deep connections across the wards and communities in Oguta, owing to his years of political involvement and active participation in local affairs.
Supporters of the APP aspirant also point to his reputation for humility, compassion, and commitment to public service as qualities that distinguish him in the race for the state assembly seat.
Apostle Ebirim further commended the leadership style of Dr. Chima Matthew Amadi, popularly known as “Gburu,” who is the leader of the Action People’s Party in Imo State and the party’s candidate for Imo East Senatorial District.
He described Dr. Amadi as a visionary leader whose commitment to grassroots politics, youth inclusion, and party development has continued to inspire confidence among party members and supporters across the state.
According to him, the leadership direction provided by Dr. Amadi has strengthened the APP’s growing acceptance in Imo State and positioned the party as a credible alternative ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Oguta State Constituency hopeful maintained that the APP remains committed to promoting good governance, democratic participation, and sustainable development across Imo State.
As political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 elections, stakeholders within Oguta State Constituency say the emergence of Apostle David Ebirim has added fresh momentum to the political landscape, especially among young voters and grassroots supporters seeking a new style of representation.
