ADC Unveils 2027 Governorship Candidates in 28 States

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has released its list of governorship candidates and running mates for the 2027 general elections in 28 states across Nigeria.
The list comprises serving and former politicians, former lawmakers and other notable political figures seeking to contest governorship elections under the ADC platform.
Among the prominent names on the list are Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour in Lagos, Great Ogboru in Delta, Abubakar Malami in Kebbi, Herman Iorwase Hembe in Benue, Ahmad Babba Kaita in Katsina and Manir Mohammad Daniya in Sokoto.
The candidates and their running mates are:
Abia: Kalu Kalu Agu — Alozie Ogadinma Darlington
Adamawa: Modibbo Hammantukur Ribadu — Aguwa Kevin Iliya
Akwa Ibom: Akpanudoedehe John James — Nsien Mkpombuk Tommy

Benue: Herman Iorwase Hembe — Abba John Abba

The development signals the ADC's preparations for the 2027 elections as political parties intensify efforts to position candidates across the country.
