Apostle David Ebirim Resigns As Oguta Labour Party Chairman
The Chairman,
Labour Party,
Obudi Aro Ward,
Oguta LGA, Imo State.
CC: Chairman,
Labour Party, Imo State.
Dear Sir,
I hereby formally resign my membership and position as Congress-elected Chairman of the Labour Party in Oguta LGA with immediate effect.
This difficult decision follows the prolonged internal crisis, leadership disputes, and litigations that have weakened the party nationally and diminished public confidence in its stability and electoral viability.
While the Labour Party inspired hope in 2023, the persistent divisions no longer align with my political convictions rooted in justice, fairness, equity, national unity, and purposeful leadership.
After consultations with stakeholders and supporters, I have resolved to pursue our collective political aspirations on a more stable and progressive platform committed to democratic advancement and the welfare of our people.
I wish the party well in its political journey.
Yours faithfully,
Apostle David Ebirim
Former Congress-Elected Oguta Labour Party Chairman.
