Today, we celebrate not just the emergence of a Professor of Law but also a remarkable achievement that adds another glorious chapter to the history of Agwa Clan.
Congratulations, Professor Chimere Arinze Obodo, on this outstanding academic milestone!

Your elevation to the rank of Professor is a source of immense pride to your family, your community, and the entire Agwa Clan. You have demonstrated that the pursuit of knowledge, when sustained by discipline, perseverance, sacrifice, and an unflinching commitment to excellence, can lead to extraordinary accomplishments.

Your achievement is even more remarkable when viewed against the background of your family's extraordinary history of firsts.

Your father was the first Masters Degree Holder, First Academic Lecturer, First Doctor of Philosophy and First Professor from Agwa Clan.

Your uncle was the first graduate from Agwa Clan, from the defunct Fourah Bay College, Sierra Leone, West Africa.

Your elder sister was the first Female Law graduate from Agwa Clan.

Your uncle was the first elected political officeholder from Agwa Clan, who represented Agwa at the defunct Urratta County Council and Easter House of Assembly

Your uncle was also the first retired senior staff member of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) from Agwa Clan. And the Obodo Dynasty is populated with graduates of sagacious and avid scholars, professionals, and leading business moguls.

What an extraordinary heritage! What a remarkable family! What a legacy of achievement!

From academia to the legal profession, from public service to political leadership, your family has continued to write its name in the annals of Agwa's history. Your latest accomplishment further strengthens this enduring tradition of excellence and achievement.

You are not merely adding another feather to your family's cap; you are helping to preserve and expand a legacy that will continue to inspire generations yet unborn.

As the first Professor of Law of the Agwa Clan and the sixth professor from Agwa, your achievement represents a significant milestone in the intellectual history of our people. It sends a powerful message to every Agwa son and daughter that greatness is attainable through education, hard work, determination, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

Indeed, education remains one of the greatest instruments for personal transformation, community advancement, and societal development.

Onyem, I must say that your academic religiosity has paid off! Your commitment to scholarship has brought you to this remarkable height, and we are MIGHTILY proud of you.

Today, Agwa Clan celebrates you. Your family celebrates you. The academic community celebrates you. And all those who believe in the transformative power of education have another reason to rejoice.

May your professorial journey open new doors to greater accomplishments, deeper intellectual contributions, and meaningful service to humanity. May you continue to distinguish yourself in legal scholarship, mentor the next generation of legal minds, and use your wealth of knowledge to contribute to the development of our society.

Above all, may your achievement inspire our young people to understand that the greatest legacy we can leave behind is not merely the wealth we accumulate but also the knowledge we acquire, the institutions we strengthen, and the generations we empower.

Congratulations once again, Onyem!

You have made your family proud. You have made Agwa Clan proud. You have given our people another reason to celebrate the enduring value of education and intellectual excellence.
