EFCC Reportedly Raids T. A. Orji's Umuahia Residence, Allegedly Recovers Cash, Vehicles and Valuables

UMUAHIA, Nigeria — The (EFCC) has reportedly conducted a raid on the Umuahia residence of former , following allegations that he failed to honour multiple invitations from the anti-graft agency for questioning.
According to reports circulating online, the operation was carried out after the former governor allegedly remained out of public sight for several months.
Unverified reports further claim that EFCC operatives recovered about $5 billion, alleged pre-written future election results, ₦1 trillion worth of gold necklaces, and about 200 exotic cars during the operation.
As of the time of filing this report, the EFCC has not issued an official statement confirming the raid or the alleged recoveries. Similarly, Theodore Ahamefule Orji or his representatives have not publicly responded to the reports.
