Our attention has been drawn to a musical clip currently circulating on social media, falsely suggesting the demise of His Excellency, Chief Achike Udenwa (Onwa).
We wish to categorically and unequivocally state that this claim is entirely false, baseless, and the handiwork of mischief makers. His Excellency is alive, hale, hearty, and in excellent health.
We therefore urge members of the public, friends, associates, supporters, and well-wishers to disregard the malicious rumour and refrain from sharing unverified information that may cause unnecessary anxiety and confusion.
Those behind the spread of such falsehoods are advised to desist from acts capable of misleading the public and causing emotional distress to family members, friends, and admirers of the former governor.
His Excellency remains in good health and continues to appreciate the goodwill, prayers, and concern expressed by countless Nigerians.
