HON. AMANZE OBI, PhD, EMERGES NDC NATIONAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL SPOKESPERSON IN IMO STATE

Hon. William Amanze Obi, PhD, has emerged as the National Campaign Council Spokesperson of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Imo State.
Obi is an academic, journalist, columnist, media executive and public affairs commentator with extensive experience in journalism, public administration and political communication.
He previously served as Commissioner for Information and Strategy and Commissioner for Culture and Tourism under the administration of His Excellency, Chief Ikedi Ohakim. He also served as Director-General of the Ahiajoku Institute under the administration of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha.
Obi, who delivered the vote of thanks on behalf of the Campaign Council directorates, appreciated the national leadership of the NDC, the state leadership and the National State Coordinator, Chief Martin Agbaso, for their efforts in ensuring that the campaign was successfully launched.
He appealed to everyone to give their best to ensure the victory of all NDC candidates, especially the presidential candidate, His Excellency, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, and his running mate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
"We shall all work together to win in all positions. This is a task for a new Nigeria under Mr. Peter Obi, and by the grace of God, we shall succeed," he said.
As the spokesperson of the NDC National Campaign Council in Imo State, Dr. Obi is expected to bring his wealth of experience, professional expertise and political communication skills to bear on advancing the party's campaign activities and organisational objectives across the state.
Dr. William Amanze Obi hails from Obeama, Agwa, Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State.
The Imo State National Campaign Council will be coordinated by His Excellency, Chief Martin Agbaso (Uchoudo), founder and leader of the Ochudo Mandate Group (OMG).
