Late Evangelist Dr. Gideon Nwaeze to Be Buried October 9 in Obudi Agwa

The burial arrangements for the late Evangelist Dr. Gideon Uchechukwu Nwaeze, former first elected Chairman of Oguta Local Government Area and APC Apex Leader in Oguta, have been announced by his family.
Evangelist Nwaeze, who died in 2026 at the age of 81, was described by his family as an icon known for his profound faith in God and unwavering commitment to service.
According to the burial announcement, activities in honour of the deceased will commence with a symposium on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. The symposium will hold at Gojane Event Centre, Port Harcourt Road, Hospital Junction, Owerri, Imo State.
A Service of Songs will follow on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at No. 5 Dr. Gideon Nwaeze Avenue, Old Area D, World Bank Housing Estate, Owerri, Imo State.
The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, October 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Central School, Obudi Agwa, Oguta Local Government Area, Imo State.
The family said the deceased would be interred immediately after the funeral service at his family residence in Obudi, Agwa.
The burial announcement urged relatives, friends, political associates, community members and other well-wishers to attend the funeral ceremonies and join the family in paying their final respects to the late community and political leader.
Evangelist Dr. Gideon Uchechukwu Nwaeze is survived by family members who have expressed appreciation for the support and condolences received since his passing.
