Late Mr. Bartholomew Egbu, an indigene of Umuahii, Obudi, Agwa in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State, will be laid to rest on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, following his passing after a prolonged illness.
He died in Lagos at the age of 58.
According to the family, the late Bartholomew Egbu was widely known as a peaceful and easy-going man, a devoted Christian, and a hardworking individual whose humility and honesty earned him the respect of relatives, friends, and members of his community.
His death has been described as a painful loss to the Egbu family and the Umuahii community.
Family members, friends, and well-wishers are expected to gather on August 5 to pay their final respects and celebrate his life and legacy.
May God grant his soul eternal rest and give the Egbu family the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
