A proud native of Obuokwu Obudi, Agwa Ancient Kingdom, Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State, High Chief Chibunna Ubawuike has distinguished himself as a successful businessman, renowned philanthropist, public affairs analyst, community leader, and committed political stakeholder whose contributions continue to inspire many.
Over the years, he has consistently deployed his influence, resources, and network in advancing the social and developmental aspirations of Agwa people while remaining an advocate for the welfare of Ndi Igbo and national progress. His passion for football and youth development has equally endeared him to many, reflecting his belief in empowering the younger generation through sports and constructive engagement.
As a founding member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), High Chief Ubawuike has remained steadfast in strengthening the party at the ward, local government, state, and national levels. His remarkable political journey has seen him serve in several strategic leadership capacities, including National Chairman of All Registered APC North-South Progressives (ARANS-P), Deputy National Chairman (South) of the APC Support Group Leaders Forum (ASGLF), Convener of Concerned Ndigbo, Lagos, National Organising Secretary of the South-East Igbo APC Progressives Roundtable (SIAPRO), and National Organising Secretary of the All Registered APC Support Groups for Tinubu/Shettima.
His commitment to the success of the APC was further demonstrated through his active participation in the Tinubu/Shettima Independent Presidential Campaign Council (ICC) during the 2023 presidential election, alongside his membership in the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), APC Progressive Hub Think Tank, and numerous APC ad hoc committees.
Beyond politics, High Chief Chibunna Ubawuike is widely respected for his humility, generosity, accessibility, and unwavering commitment to community service. His philanthropy has positively impacted countless lives, while his dedication to justice, equity, and the advancement of Agwa Ancient Kingdom continue to earn him admiration across different sectors.
