LETTER OF RESIGNATION OF MEMBERSHIP FROM THE AFRICAN DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS (ADC)
I write to formally tender my resignation as a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), effective from today, 8th May, 2026.
This decision was reached after a period of deep personal reflection and careful consideration of my political convictions and aspirations for a more inclusive, united, equitable, and fair democratic society. While I appreciate the opportunities and experiences gained during my time in the party, I have observed with concern that the leadership and direction of the ADC no longer sufficiently align with my evolving ideological beliefs, particularly on issues bordering on national unity, equity, justice, and fairness in democratic engagement.
Consequently, I have resolved to continue my political journey with the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), a platform whose democratic ideals, political vision, and commitment to inclusive governance more closely resonate with my principles and aspirations for national development.
I remain grateful to the leadership and members of the ADC for the cooperation and political association shared over the years. I sincerely wish the party success and progress in all its future political engagements.
