The Iruamaka Family of Umuahii, Obudi, Agwa, in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State, has announced the funeral arrangements for their beloved patriarch, Late Pa Festus Owuzuruigbo Iruamaka, who passed away on June 1, 2026 at the age of 86.
According to the family, funeral activities will commence with a Christian Wake-Keep on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at his residence in New Site, Umuahii, Obudi, Agwa, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
On Friday, August 28, 2026, the body will leave Aladinma Mortuary, Owerri, at 9:00 a.m. for his hometown, where it will be received by family members at 10:00 a.m. Funeral proceedings will begin at 10:30 a.m. under the auspices of Christ the King Catholic (CKC) Parish, Agwa, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will take place at 1:00 p.m. at his residence in Umuahii, after which guests will be entertained.
The funeral rites will conclude with an Outing and Thanksgiving Mass on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Christ the King Catholic (CKC) Parish, Obudi, Agwa.
The family described the late Pa Festus Owuzuruigbo Iruamaka as a devoted Christian, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle whose life was marked by love, humility, peace, and service to his family and community.
