Kaduna State Governor and Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Campaign Council for the Ekiti State Governorship Election, Senator Uba Sani, has expressed confidence that the party will secure a decisive victory in the forthcoming governorship poll.
Speaking at the inauguration of the APC National Campaign Council held at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja, the governor said the party was working towards achieving a target of 500,000 votes for its candidate, Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
According to Uba Sani, the campaign council is committed to mobilising party members and supporters across Ekiti State to ensure a successful electoral outing for the APC.
"We are certainly going to achieve the 500,000 votes target at the Ekiti Governorship Polls. I do not doubt that," the governor said.
He also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as the support extended to APC governors in delivering their mandates, noting that the party's leadership had strengthened governance across the states.
Uba Sani stated that the campaign council would reciprocate that support by working collectively to secure a convincing victory for Governor Biodun Oyebanji in the governorship election.
He urged party leaders, members, and campaign officials to remain focused and united throughout the campaign period, expressing optimism that the APC would emerge victorious at the polls.
"Let us march forward with focus and determination. Together, we will achieve an extraordinary victory for Governor Biodun Oyebanji and the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State," he added.
The inauguration of the campaign council marks the beginning of coordinated campaign activities by the APC ahead of the Ekiti State governorship election, with party leaders expressing confidence in their electoral prospects.
